SHINAPSE DUO PRO · MAC + ANDROID
More room for your Mac. More ways to use it.
Give your Mac a second screen on your Android tablet. Move a window over, reach out and touch it, or pick up your pen.
Keep one Mac window in front of you and another on your tablet.
01 / A second screen
Move a window. Make room for more.
Your tablet becomes a separate display for your Mac. Keep the main task on your Mac, and put a reference, preview, or tool window beside it.
Make on one screen. Check on the other.
02 / Touch control
A display you can reach into.
Tap, drag, and scroll through the Mac window on your tablet. Switch to view-only when you just need a screen, or pen-only when you want to focus on your pen.
Tap · Drag · Long press for right-click · Two-finger scroll
03 / Pen input
Pressure-sensitive drawing, from tablet to Mac.
Draw on your tablet and send changes in pen pressure and tilt to your Mac. Mark an idea, trace a line, and stay close to the work in front of you.
Pen-only mode leaves finger touches out of the input stream.
04 / Connection
One less cable between you and your work.
Install Duo Pro on both devices and connect them to the same Wi-Fi. Choose your Mac on the tablet, then approve the matching code on both devices the first time they connect.
Returning devices can reconnect from the remembered device list.
05 / Display settings
Wide when you want it. Tall when you need it.
Choose a supported display mode and landscape or portrait orientation in the Mac app. Set up a long reading space or keep your tools alongside your main work.
Stop sharing before changing the display mode or orientation. Available modes vary by tablet.
06 / Getting started
Two devices. Two apps. One workspace.
You need the Mac app and the Android tablet app. Both devices must be on a local network where they can reach each other. Check compatibility and permissions before installing.
Check compatibilityA few useful answers.
Does Duo Pro mirror my Mac?
Duo Pro adds an extended display. Move a Mac window to your tablet and keep different content on each screen.
Do I need an app on both devices?
Yes. Install the Mac app and the Android tablet app.
Do both devices need the same Wi-Fi?
They need to be on a local network where they can reach each other. Guest network isolation can prevent discovery or connection, even when the Wi-Fi name looks the same.
Give your work a little more room.
